Dear all,

Here is the latest from the Reading Buses group of companies.

Reading Buses

205 returned from Magtec on 22 February following removal of its electric drive. It can’t economically be put back into running order, so will go for scrap once any further useful parts have been removed.

211 lost its MegaRear for Just Tiles on 11 February (sadly Just Tiles have gone into administration, ending a long chain of MegaRear adverts)

219, 227 and 233 lost their MegaRears for Santa’s Grotto at Broad St. Mall on 11 February.

Delivery of the recently announced ADL Enviro400s for Green Line has been delayed until late May due to supply issues with the manufacturer.

Newbury & District

Irizar i6S demonstrator YT72 GOK arrived on Tuesday 7 February as planned, and returned on 14 February. It utilised fleet number 1003 during its stay.

Thames Valley Buses

No news this month.

There are no other updates on the vehicles away for repair (671, 677, 703, 757) or withdrawn (357, 802, 1409).
