Here is the latest fleet news from the Reading Buses group of companies.
Reading Buses
Alexander Dennis Enviro400EV demonstrator AD24 BEV arrived on 27 June for the open day and two week trial in service, and is being numbered 1008 for its stay.
An additional Scania K270UB / Enviro 300SG acquired from Stagecoach North East on 18 June is YR14 CGX, which will become 443. It went directly to Bus & Coach World Blackburn for refurbishment and repaint into aqua 28 livery.
441 arrived in base aqua 28 livery on 19 June, followed by 442 on 26 June and 440 on 27 June. 441 gained full branding on 29 June.
759 went away for repaint and refurbishment on 9 May.
424 went away for repaint on 15 May into new leopard 3 (orbits) livery, returning on 19 June.
429 went away for repaint on 19 June into new leopard 3 (orbits) livery.
788 transferred in from N&D on 18 June and 863 on 19 June. 864 also transferred but remains at N&D whilst under repair. 1202 never made it into service at N&D, remaining in Reading under repair.
Withdrawn 182, 186, 803, 810, are still on site pending disposal, 1203, 1205, 1206, 1207 in reserve, and 382 pending transfer to Thames Valley Buses.
Newbury & District
777 arrived by 11 June
775 entered service on 17 June, 776 on 18 June, 777 on 14 June and 778 on 18 June.
788 transferred to Reading on 18 June and 863 on 19 June. 864 also transferred but remains at Newbury whilst under repair. 1202 never made it into service at N&D, remaining in Reading under repair. These and various short-term loans to cover have been replaced by 775-8.
Thames Valley Buses
667 gained branding for Bracknell Business Improvement District on 27 June.
