Dear all,

Here is the latest fleet news from Reading Buses.

Reading Buses

435 returned from repaint into Azure 43 livery (ex generic) on 1 April, returning to service on 2nd.

782 returned from repaint into generic silver (ex temporary London Line) at Bus & Coach World, Blackburn on 11 March, returning to service on 15th.

412 went away for repaint on 1 April.

There was an erroneous report in December Buses magazine that 646/7 are owned by Dawson Group. They are former Mistral vehicles that have been purchased by us. The report also incorrectly stated that our running day on 26 October saw visiting buses running on football services, they actually ran as free extras on normal routes.

Newbury & District

777 was withdrawn on 12 March, followed by 775-776 on 20 March for return to Dawson Rentals. 775 departed on approx. 23rd, 776 on 25th, and 777 on 27th. I understand that 775-778 have all subsequently gone on loan from Dawson to Go North East.

865/866 departed to Chartwell Bus Sales by 25 March.

784 returned from repaint into updated N&D livery on 21 March.

786 went away for repaint on 21 March.

Thames Valley Buses

655/656 returned from repaint into Thames Valley Buses generic livery on 17 March (ex N&D), with 655 entering service on 28th and 656 on 8 April.

664 has been repainted into a new two-tone green Thames Valley livery with branding for route 2 (ex Thames Valley generic), returning to service on 2 April for changes effective from 6 April. A second example will follow in due course.

Regards,

Robert
