Safari 5.1.2 OS X: .
Safari 5.1.2 OS X (2): .
Firefox 10.0.2 OS X: .
It would be nice to see something like:
Safari 5.1.2 (WebKit 534.52.7) OS X: .
Safari 5.1.2 (WebKit 536.2+) OS X: .
Firefox 10.0.2 (Gecko 20100101) OS X: .
Actually all I really care about is being able to tell which of the entries buster shows is the released Safari and which is the WebKit nightly. So if there's another way, other than displaying the engine version, to determine that, and to display that, then that would be sufficient. With the versions I have now, I see that with the released Safari, the Safari build number matches the AppleWebKit build number, and with the nightly WebKit, it doesn't, but I don't know if that's always the case.
Safari release:
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_6_8) AppleWebKit/534.52.7 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1.2 Safari/534.52.7
WebKit nightly:
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_6_8) AppleWebKit/536.2+ (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1.2 Safari/534.52.7
