Tonight is the night that you get the opportunity to get out that library and forget about finals/forget how you went in your finals. I think we all can agree that its not looking so good...
You are all getting this email because you have shown the dedication (and turned in all your forms and dues) to the Ski Team. Summer Soiree is our way of saying welcome to the team and as the Legend Jonathan Powanda states it: "A WILD AND WARM STORM SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO BRING PERIODS OF HEAVY OUTRAGEOUSNESS
While many a great ski team reputation has been born on this fateful night I must warn you, you are partying with alcoholics professionals. You will see the upperclassmen taking jager to the face, hitting the shot-ski, slapping the bag with incredible ferocity, and raging their faces off. You are given this wonderful opportunity BUT these kids have been drinking at this level for at least two years and joining in could lead to embarrassment, drunkenness, a great new nickname, and the possibility of becoming great. While we love raging with new friends, remember that you are the ones who are sponsoring this party and so attendance should only be limited to ski team members. So, bring your A game, NOT your entire freshman hall (Yes, we know, we've heard how chill McDonnell Hall kids are).
New members:
This is one of your first opportunities to meet everyone that is on the team. The more people you know the more fun your weekends away will be so come, have a good time, meet the crew.
Veterans:
I know how well some of you ski...? so make sure you are there on time to show the newbies how we do it and that you are actually an asset to the team. I will be disappointed if there is still hard alcohol after 11pm. Actually though GET THERE EARLY! or else

Remember, BUST is a ski team, not a drinking team. Drink by choice and be responsible. Uphold the dignity ski team has maintained over all these years as Bucknell's most fun and diverse social group on campus. On rage? Rage on!
