Students from SPH IH773 would like to invite your group to join us for a bar night/fundraiser to support KMET, a women's health organization in Kenya, and their Sisterhood for Change Program at The Greatest Bar (event flyer is attached!). Please pass this on to any of your members who might be interested!
What: KMET’s Sisterhood for Change program works towards reducing teenage pregnancy, unsafe abortion and HIV/AIDS prevalence in teenage girls and young woman in slum areas of Kenya as well as providing empowerment through education and skills training. (http://www.kmet.co.ke/)
When: Friday, April 3rd
7:30-10:00pm
Where: The Greatest Bar
262 Friend Street (3rd Floor)
Boston, MA
Near North Station, Haymarket and a short walk from Government Center
Cost:
$5 door fee. All proceeds benefit Sisterhood for
Change.
*Bar specials include: Bud Light & Miller Lite
drafts for $4, and $11 pitchers of each. Narragansett beer for $3 for bottles,
and $4 for 16oz cans
