Hello everyone,
APALSA is proud to co-sponsor the Women Law Association's "Second Annual Critical Conversations" panel. Please come out and support the event next Tuesday, along with the other affinity groups on campus!
Name: Second Annual
Critical Conversations Date: Feb. 17, 1-2pm
Critical Conversations is a panel event that will discuss the intersection of law and race, gender, ethnicity and discrimination. We’ve all come to law school with individual experiences, identities, and interests. Sometimes, these
conflict
with the material we’re learning in class,
and, especially during 1L, it can feel like there’s no time or place to address these conflicts. There’s so much to learn from putting these criticisms in dialogue, questioning them, and
seeing the incompleteness of our own narratives. This year, Professor Bridges will be moderating a panel of 3-4 professors who will
discuss critical issues ranging from
criminal to
property law. We invite you to join us and to engage in this critical conversation!
