Hello,

We would like to take a moment to thank all of you for coming to our events and contributing to BU APALSA this year.  I can speak on behalf of our E-Board to say that we are very pleased with how the year turned out.  We firmly believe we contributed to the growth of the Asian Pacific American community here at BU and in Boston and also contributed to the community of BU Law as a whole.

We realize that none of this would have been possible without the help of all those that volunteered to assist with our events and attended the events themselves.  We are indebted to you and we hope that we helped make your experience at BU Law better.  We are especially indebted to the 3Ls who stuck around to help out.

Special recognition needs to be given to Merry Luong, Jodie Koo, Paula Vigo, Christina Lau, Bianka Ramos, Allan Talde and Lilliane Nguyen.  They are the reasons you got to meet the firms, network with and learn about the Asian Pacific American community in Boston, find mentors, and be fed.  We are so thankful for their contributions.

With that being said, it's now time to look ahead.  We have a new executive board and they are bringing new, exciting ideas to our programming for the next year. We are lucky to have them take over and hope you all continue to show your support for them and BU APALSA.

Our new executive board:

President: In-Sung Kim
VP of Professional Development: Rama Attreya
VP of Alumni Relations: Chloe Kwon
Treasurer: Maryanna Tomazic
Secretary: Yuhang Li
Mentorship Chair: Tyrone Johnson
Public Relations & Community Service Chair: Juan Garay

We hope everyone finishes the semester strong and has a great summer.  We love you all and look forward to continuing the relationships we have built through APALSA.

Sincerely,

BU APALSA 2014-15 & Matthew Lee, former President
