Dear APALSA Friends,

Here is the second (and last) e-mail of the day. Trust me, you'll want to read this one.

Mentor/Mentee Lunches! 

This semester we have enough funds to sponsor another round of Mentor/Mentee meals. Here's the deal - each mentor/mentee group will have $10/person to spend on a meal. (Deeper illustration: Jack is John's Mentor. Jack gets $10. John gets $10. Please ask if you need clarification.) APALSA will pick up the tab. But here's the catch - you must have your receipts and reimbursement forms completed by Friday, March 8th, 2013. (That's the Friday before Spring Break.)  If you're a mentor and you did this last semester, just follow the same procedures as before. Questions? Ask Mike (mike...@bu.edu) 

General Interest Meeting - February 25th, 2013. Room 570. 1pm. 

We will have pizza. We will get together and talk about upcoming events. We'll also have a short brainstorming session about how we can improve APALSA for you and for the school as a whole. 

Lunar New Year Celebration - Date TBD

We are currently working with the MIT Lion Dancing Group to schedule a Lunar New Year celebration on campus. We hope to schedule it by the end of February. Be on the lookout for those details as well. 

End of the Year Lu'au - Date TBD (early April) 

We are also working to put together our Spring lu'au in honor of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. If anyone would like to be involved in the planning process, please contact Mike (mike...@bu.edu).  

Admitted Student Surveys

Just a friendly reminder that if you're contacting admitted students through the admissions/student affairs offices, please remember to fill out the surveys when you've completed them.
