Busking is fun, but there are some limits. You can't just go to the
corner of Clark and Henry st. and start strumming your guitar. New
York, like any city, has some zoning and sound ordinance laws that all
citizens must follow. We all know that being arrested is not on our
list of things we want to do, so I'm going to post a few New York laws
and facts pertaining to buskers.

If you know any laws, please feel free to post!

You need a permit to perform in subway and train stations. Check out
