Must be strong in QTP, QC, Agile, Automation. I can pay you $40/hr. firm

 

Required Skills   - Past Test Lead Experience

- Knowledgeable of Project Management practices like project planning, integrated project control, ROI calculation, Risk management and Quality management.

- Excellent test plan and documentation skills

- Define testing scope, approach, risks, and assumptions.

- Report and communicate test status and metrics to project stakeholders.     

- Excellent problem solving and debugging skills     

- Experience on different software development methodologies     

- Work independently, Effectively communicate testing status to management.     

- Coordinating with Onsite / Offshore team      

- Experience in managing multi-location teams     

- Experience using industry-standard test tools ( QTP )

- Experience using test management tools like ( HP Quality Center/ALM etc )     

- Experience in test effort estimation 

- Self Starter with excellent Analytical skills

- Adheres to Project Budget & Timelines

- Negotiating Skills

- Leadership skills (e.g. provide direction, pushback if necessary, speak up as needed)

- Manage and maintain knowledge documents

 

Technical Competencies:

 

- Strong experience in setting up Test Automation Frameworks

- Experience in automation of web applications including  applications in Java, VB6, C#Dot Net.

- Strong knowledge of automated tools (HP tools including QTP)       

- Hands on experience in using test management tool ( preferably Quality Center)  

- Identify, Debug and clearly articulate software defects.        

- Strong knowledge on scripting languages ( VB script, Perl etc)

- Knowledge of Framework (Data Driven, Keyword Driven, Hybrid)

- Knowledge of descriptive programming in QTP.

- Hands on experience to work on QTP Libraries

- Managing Test Artifacts (Test Projects and Test Scripts collaboration)

- Team member should have knowledge of available automation frameworks

- Extensive knowledge of BPT based framework

- Must have previous experience of automated script development for regression testing, functional testing projects.

- Should be able to carry out automated script maintenance of existing scripts based on GUI changes.

- Team member should understand client requirement and Design automation frameworks using QC and QTP or only QTP

- Extensive knowledge of BPT framework.

- Prepare framework related training material for client usage.

- Knowledge of QTP add-ins and their working

- Prepare data input areas, defining coding standards, review process and script sign off process along with client SMEs
