The Republic of Adygea is a federal subject of Russia, with its territory enclaved within Krasnodar Krai. Its area is 7,600 square kilometers (2,900 sq mi) with a population of 450,000.
Natural resources
The republic is rich in oil and natural gas. Other natural resources include gold, silver, tungsten, iron, molybdenum, tungsten, barite, lead, copper, zinc, phosphate, raw materials used for the production of building materials - clay, sand, sand and gravel, decorative stones.
Climate
- Average January temperature: −0.5 °C (31.1 °F)
- Average July temperature: +23 °C (73 °F)
Economy
· From 2007 to 2014 in the economy of the Republic invested more than $ 115 billion rubles.
· In 2015, the Republic of Adygea plans 17 billion and increase the flow of investment.
· Today in Adygea is implemented more than 50 investment projects with a total volume of declared investments 68 billion. The pace of implementation of each project takes an average of not more than three years.
At the stage of completion for several investment projects:
Industrial sector:
1. The construction of a plant for the production of gypsum, dry mixes, plaster-based, with total investment of 1 billion rubles. Investor -LLC "Corporation "VOLMA".
2. The construction of a refinery with a total investment of 30 billion rubles. The investor -CJSC "Antey".
3. Industrial Park on the basis of Koshekhabl gas condensate field. Plot area of 107 hectares. Investments 2.1 billion rubles. The investor of the project - OOO Yujgazenergy" (the owner of JKX Oil &Gas Plc. - England).
Trade:
1. Construction in Maikop trade and entertainment center "Red Square". The investor -CJSC "RAMO-HOUSE". A total investment of 2.4 billion rubles.
2. The construction of trade and entertainment complex "Carousel". Investor X5 Reatil Group. Investment-more than 3 billion rubles.
3. On the territory of the Republic of Adygea has already built shopping malls such large investors, as IKEA, Auchan and others.
The work on creation of a favorable investment climate in Adygea evaluated by independent experts. At the end of last year Adygea took 3rd place in the nomination "the effectiveness of public administration" in the rating of Investment attractiveness of regions-2014", prepared by the Agency "Expert RA".
Agricultural sector:
1. The construction of a slaughterhouse in Maikop with a total investment of 596 million. The investor-CJSC "Kivo-Zhuraki".
2. Agribusiness incubator. The investment volume is 1.1 billion.
3. The construction of a greenhouse complex in Maikop area carried out by CJSC "Raduga", with a total investment of 150 million rubles.
4. Joint Russian Spanish company of "Agrocenter "South". Investments 3.2 billion rubles.
Tourism:
1. Construction of "Center-Hotel” with a total investment of 900 million rubles. Investor JSC "Center-Hotel”
2. Ski resort "Lagonaki". Already invested 2.4 billion rubles.
3. Tourist recreational Park for sport, recreation and entertainment -Park "Janet" on-site in 701 ha. Investments 3 billion.
