Close to 30 years ago I was a programmers for a regional computer firm that extensively sold MAI Basic Four systems. Over time we branched out to Mercator, Convergent Technology, Plexus and even PC systems, but it all ran version of Business Basic. Pluto Basic, SMC Basic, Thoroughbred Basic. As I get close to retirement, I'm looking for legal disk images to that software to play with on my vintage computers. Specifically the version that ran on MS-DOS. If anybody can direct me to where I can obtain these dsk images, that would be great.
Thanks.

have you tried contacting Tbred? - they may give you ONLY the latest
version for Windows, but it may very well still load the old programs
(or they may still have the utilities that converts the old programs
so they are re-tokenized, and can be read in the new Tbred)

I doubt PLUTO is still around

I actually worked for SMC when it was still SMC and when they were first
creating "thouroughbred" as a brand. - John L Johnson at the time was VP of
SMC-SEIKOM - yep - SEIKO Computers (same Seiko as the watch) - an absolute
BARGAIN in it's day.

(John L is today president/owner of Thoroughbred, int)

For Pluto, contact Jim Sterling at

jste...@sterlingnetworks.com

He bought Southwest Data Systems a number of years ago.

We sold both Pluto and X/TEND (the AS400 BB version)
