We have an urgent requirements with our client. Below is the job description,

 

Requirement: 1

Automation Test Engineer position 

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Interview: Phone and Skype

Visa: H1B, GC and USC

Duration: 6+ Ext

 

Must Haves : 

·         Automation testing w/ frameworks like Selenium, RestAssured, TestNG, JUnit and Cucumber.

·         Good knowledge on Java programming language

·         Testing experience with REST Web Services and Microservices

·         Experience in Manual testing tools like PostMan, SoapUI and Browser tools like ChromeDev tools, BugZilla etc.

·         Work with Engineers to drive improvements in code quality via manual and automated testing in CI/CD environment.

·         Develop test plans, testing resource requirements, and scheduling of testing activity. Hands on experience with STLC.

·         Good knowledge in SQL/PLSQL wherein database benchmarking and testing can be achieved.

·         Run JMeter tests to test out performance of applications and databases including stress and load testing.

·         Create, maintain and execute Test cases/scripts at any level as required (Unit, Integration, Component, System Integration, Exploratory, Stress, Sanity, Smoke, Regression).

·         Coordinate “Quality at Every Step” – Involved in the review of the user story backlog and requirements specifications for completeness and weaknesses in function, performance, reliability, scalability, testability, usability, resilience, security and compliance testing, and provides recommendations.

·         Good knowledge in GIT, Agile and Scrum methodologies.

·         Work with Product Owners to prioritize features, maintain documentation and known issues.

·         Document Architectures, Data flows, Use Cases and functionalities. Proficient in UML.

·         Good attitude, communication, willingness to learn and collaborate

·         Bring a culture of innovation, ideas, and continuous improvement

·         Challenging status quo, demonstrate risk taking, and implement creative ideas

 
Good to know :

·         Knowledge in Linux/Shell scripting

·         Exposure to NoSql databases

·         DevOps knowledge - deploying, maintaining and troubleshooting systems
