Job Overview

Deloitte Consulting – GPS is looking for an AWS Developer to support a State of Michigan project. The role focuses heavily on Generative AI, AWS cloud development, LLMs, RAG, agentic AI, and AWS Bedrock.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Python and AWS development experience and be comfortable building AI-powered applications and integrating them into enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Build AI-powered applications using Generative AI, LLMs, and agentic AI frameworks
• Design and implement RAG solutions
• Perform prompt engineering, structured outputs, and LLM orchestration using Python
• Evaluate LLM performance and improve AI solutions
• Develop REST APIs and FastAPI services
• Build and deploy cloud-native applications within AWS
• Integrate AWS Bedrock into enterprise applications
• Develop AI-powered knowledge assistants and Q&A chatbots
• Configure and enhance Amazon Connect contact flows
• Support AI-driven customer engagement capabilities
• Develop scalable solutions using Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFormation, Fargate, and OpenSearch
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AI solutions
