Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior QA / Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong automation and engineering expertise to support:

✔ Refactoring of existing client-facing applications onto strategic components
✔ Development of a new unified client portal

This is an automation-driven engineering role operating within a shared quality ownership model, working closely with Java and React engineering teams.

The ideal candidate will possess deep QA automation skills along with experience testing financial / regulated systems, particularly within trading, post-trade, collateral, or risk platforms.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of combined Software Engineering & QA Automation experience.
• Strong hands-on automation expertise using:

✔ Java OR JavaScript / TypeScript

• Strong experience with:

✔ Playwright
✔ Postman
✔ REST / JSON Testing
✔ Browser / UI Automation

• Solid understanding of modern application architectures:

✔ React Frontends
✔ REST APIs
✔ Microservices

• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Comfortable working in a shared quality model (no separate QA silo).
• Strong debugging, analytical, and communication skills.
• Mandatory Domain Experience:

✔ Experience testing systems within financial institutions
✔ Exposure to Trading / Post-Trade / Collateral / Risk Platforms
✔ Experience in regulated environments

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with AWS / Cloud-hosted applications
• Exposure to Docker / Kubernetes environments
• Performance / Load Testing experience
