Job Overview:
Fannie Mae is seeking a Lead UI Angular Developer with a strong background in front-end technologies and experience working in high-performing agile teams. The ideal candidate must have deep experience in Angular (v18+ preferred), AWS, and full-stack systems, with a strong focus on Single Page Applications (SPA) for financial clients—especially in the mortgage industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and responsive Single Page Applications (SPA) using Angular 18+.
- Perform high-complexity analysis, design, development, and unit testing of applications.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects during various testing cycles.
- Ensure high performance, security, and responsiveness of front-end interfaces.
- Apply test-driven development (TDD) practices for frontend development.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practice implementation across the team.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies; bring innovation to projects.
- Work within Agile/Scrum teams delivering high-quality code in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience leading UI-focused teams and guiding junior developers
- Hands-on experience integrating UI with microservices in cloud environments
