Guys looking for some thoughts/feedback.
Recruitment is a big problem and hence an huge industry. Estimated to be $400 billion worldwide and $73 billion in US.

Campus recruitment must be atleast 40-50% of this cost.
I myself have a lot of recruiting costs and still not satisfied with results. Since i am a customer myself, i believe, i can come up with very good requirement and hence corresponding solutions.
I researched and found no website dedicated to campus recruitment. Here are some high level features on a "campus-recruiter" site.
1) how many of you find this interesting?
2) Anybody interested in investing in the project. My estimate to build this is around $50k. I guess it will need a lot more in marketing.

- Easy way for students to provide info. Data provided only once.
- Various rankings ie. ranking by overall academic performance, by latest test resuts, as per standardized test results, as per peer rating within the class, as per professor ratings etc. etc.
- Students can pick the companies in order of priority
- Companies can pick the students in order of priority

CP - hope you are doing well. This definitely looks like an interesting idea and I think it may have some good potential. At the end of the day, it sounds like a monster.com for college students. I remember using jobtrak, which was acquired and renamed monstertrak. It allows recruiters to have a common platform across all the schools the recruit from.
Also, I finally decided to try out one of my entrepreneurial ideas - it's called Aik Dinh and accessible through www.aikdinh.com. I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts.
