 The APIGEE Architect is responsible for working with application teams and Enterprise Architecture in setting standards and designing integration patterns for applications that adhere to standards and best practices. This position reports to the manager of Integration and Application Domain Architecture. Extensive knowledge and experience with integration capabilities including API Managers, ESB, messaging, restful services, service registries and mainframe integration. The Integration Architect works closely with delivery teams to implement integration functions to support business capabilities. He or she will analyze, introduce and evangelize new integration technologies throughout the organization and Sr. Management when applicable. Additionally, the candidate should be able to able to analyze code and deployment configurations at times to help troubleshoot or perform quality checks as needed.
·         Given the rapid acceleration of the adoption of APIs in the industry, knowledge and expertise in the following areas will be required:
o    API gateways and API management tools
o    API policy management
o    Designing public facing RESTful APIs
o    Designing distributed systems, messaging, and microservices architectures.

·         Must have experience implementing Apigee or other API Management tools
·         Must have experience maintaining API architecture, design APIs, and converting services over to Apigee or other API Management tools
·         Deep knowledge of the latest integration technologies, platforms, and open-source with an understanding of industry trends and best practices.
·         Team player with excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
·         Detail-oriented individual with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies.
