The Day of The Entrepreneur, founded by gobighub.com is a day for celebrating entrepreneurs, a day when employees thank entrepreneurs for creating the jobs giving them livelihoods, and community members thank entrepreneurs for creating the products changing their lives.
Past Performance
The first celebration on November 1st, 2015, attracted 53 employees celebrating 21 entrepreneurs. The second celebration on November 1st, 2016, attracted 1,341 employees celebrating 79 entrepreneurs. In the third celebration of November 1st 2017, we are challenging 1,000,000 employees to celebrate up-to 100,000 entrepreneurs.
How To Celebrate Entrepreneurs
As a Group of employees: Buy your CEO/Founder a corporate gift, a plaque, Focus Award©, for the focus s/he has maintained in consistently creating products that add value, and consistently creating employment opportunities that change lives. The plaque is UGX. 350,000.
As an individual: You can buy your CEO/Founder, a gift in form of physical goods (pens, ties, etc) or treats/service vouchers (massage, haircuts, coffee). The gifts are worth UGX. 35,000.

What if I do not have a CEO/Founder?
You can purchase the gift, and GoBigHub.com, will donate it to micro entrepreneurs, the market women, and solo traders around Uganda, those who do not have any employees, to inspire them to grow big.
After Party, Goat Roasting on November, 1st at National Museum
All those who appreciate their bosses with a gift will be invited to cocktail party, on November, 1st, 2017, from 5pm-8pm, with goat roasted, and a free drink (beer or soda) and career conversations on “how to get a promotion”.
