Heya, all! I'm super excited - we are ready to launch the online
artist directory, and have flipped the website over to highlight the
directory and the benefit. Take a look and let me know what you
think!

Looks fantastic Laura! Thanks so much for all your hard work (and the rest of the web team of course). I don't know if its just my browser but some text is showing up overlaying the registration and benefit banners, seems to be names of artists in a pink font. Anyone else seeing that?

Is it just when you roll over the images? Because that's supposed to
happen... let me know if it's static and we'll definitely have to look
into it.

When I roll over most of the images, I get the pop up text on a black box, as intended, but for some, i.e right now with Potion Collective and Norte Maar, which happen to be on the front page, there is just static text that was there when I first loaded the page (and its not even right next to the respective images, but down near the banners). Sorry if that was a confusing description.

Looks great Laura,
Question, is there a way so that all the artists at a particular location show up when you click on the number? It appears that only two can appear, even of there are several at a given at an address (330 Melrose for example).

It just might be nice for people who do stroll by neighborhood....

Sorry to everyone for so many emails. Laura I see a pattern actually - its the box second from the left on the top row, and 3rd from the left on the bottom row, every time I load the page.

Ali - what browser are you using? Can you take a screenshot?

Thanks!

Lizzie -

You should see all of the listings for a given location as clickable
options when you click one of the location flags on the map. We can't
do much more by location at this time, but it'll be organized by
location in the print program.

Sounds good. For now it's just giving me two options to click...but it's randomized so sometimes I'll get my own and sometimes not.

I'm using Firefox, latest version. Here's a screenshot (can you see it says Friends and Hot Noir). In this one, you can see even more text than I usually get, on the bottom left - don't know why.

I agree with Lizzie, its annoying that when I search 'Brooklyn Fire Proof' I only see 2 listings, and not my own, but whats most important is the map, so thats okay.

I am really, really digging the randomized listings -- I've definitely already clicked on a few things I wouldn't otherwise have entered into my search criteria. This is great! Congrats to the web team, you guys worked your asses off and it really shows.

Yes! Randomized listings=totally cool to the max. Especially because my own came up the first time :D

I am my own fate!

Hmm... are you in a list that you generated as a result of a search?
The map will only reflect listings that match your search criteria.
Maybe we can retain all listings on the map dots regardless of what's
in the search results, but I'm not sure how doable that is on the
programming side.

Nope, just the general listing. I've reloaded the page and it will show different options, but only two.

Weird... but if you look at Brooklyn Fireproof there are a ton. Might
have to do with sorting by space names, since a couple of the ones in
our building have BDPW on them and a couple don't. I'll check in with
Dan about it.
