Hey, all! I made the beginnings of a project management plan, please
check it out and fill in the gaps, comment, etc. Would love to have
this pretty firm in the next week or so!

one plea, if I may -- it would be wonderful if we didn't have to pay rush charges for printing the programs. Also, if you spend anything out of pocket for which you would like to be reimbursed I need to have receipts.

I will not be at the meetings as I teach on Monday nights through May, but receipts and other budget stuff can be filtered to me through Laura B. or Chloe.

Totally!

My understanding is that going to print on May 12 will mean no rush
fees. Obviously it's ambitious to plan on a 10-day turnaround from the
close of registration to the program going to press, but we are
constrained by the fact that we want the programs for the benefit, and
the benefit is a week earlier this year than it was last year.

I think we're going to work on the layout of the program itself in
advance of closing registration and plugging in the data. This will
hopefully get a chunk of the work done before registration closes on
May 2nd.

Just wanted to confirm that I definitely want to be involved with the
benefit (I saw you had a question mark there). Tara and I discussed
that she will take care of the event planning aspect, and I can be the
person that organizes getting the work from artists. So whoever is
setting up the registration form can put my email:
ali[at]artsinbuswick[dot]org, as the link to receive that info (or
forward it to me there or my gmail, however it usually works). Will
fill in the press timeline soon.

Also to point out that I made a page for what people want included in
the press release, post your needs as they come up!
