Volunteer needs

Heya, all! Things are going well on the operations front, yay!

Just wanted to flag a few significant volunteer needs that we would
LOVE to get filled ASAP:

- English to Spanish translation - helping to translate our materials
(flyers, etc) into Spanish, so that we can reach out more effectively
to all neighborhood residents.
- , Producing the BOS 2010 Music Festival. Unfortunately, Todd can't
take on the music festival this time around, but we would love to keep
it going. For this to happen, we'll need to find someone to spearhead
this project, with our support of course.

The Music Festival team will be Oweinama, Erin Adams and me and we're
going to have a meeting at GBM on Sunday to discuss what needs to be
done. After that we'll put up something on the spaces seeking artists
page. You can have any inquiries for the festival sent over to my AIB
e-mail and I'll forward everything on over to them.

Amazing! Can you also write a blurb for our eblast explaining what you guys will need? (Artists, more volunteers, etc.)

I also had some friends involved in organizing parts of the Bushwick DIY music festival, if you want me to try and drag them in.  I'm not sure what they have to offer beyond a love of musical instruments that go "bladdoowww!" and an appreciation of the way those sounds interact with beer...  but they can bring some enthusiasm at the very least.

After our meeting on Sunday we'll know more of what our needs are and will put it up on google group.  I also have a friend who volunteered to do tech stuff that weekend for us.  I'm sure we'll need a few more volunteers but I will keep you posted
