8 weeks till filming

Happy new year !
And this weeks reminders ...
Everyone who is being interviewed needs to send in their list of
questions right now. Just write them down and email the questions to
me before this Friday. They will then be sent out to the interviewers
and film crew over the weekend for brainstorming. You will also be
asked about what props you will need on the day. The crew need these
questions to plan out the shots. Anyone who misses the deadline will
have to sort it out on the day.
We need some more painters from Tuesday Feb 16 to work on set. There
are limestone cliffs, tree bark, lichen, sunbleached timber and many
other effects to create with paint. And you will be well fed by Tracy.
Let me know if you would like to help with a days work.

The set building at Bunnings Riccarton is going well. All the staff
are being very helpful, and a lot of material has been donated. In the
last week, a giant Black Beech tree, and soft box has been built. The
3m cliffs will be carved tomorrow night out of polystyrene. Bunnings
are providing the trucks to shift the set on Monday 15 Feb plus 8-10
workers to move everything into place.
Canterbury University are donating a whole lab to use for filming
science demos and making stuff like algenate or preparing specimens.
Ian Orchard has been appointed as Lab Manager. The lab plus gear will
be picked up next week by Ian and Mike.
