Day 1 of filming at Ellerslie

Filming got underway yesterday at the Sponsors launch. John
Cumberpatch gave a welcome and then interviews were recorded with many
of the sponsors for the eventual "Making of" doco.
A much higher standard of filming has been achieved, because of the
help of a 150 people from 38 organisations.
In the last week, John Kane from VITC, offered his outside broadcast
van and 3 cameras, which was moved onto the set. Andrew Dean from
Lakefly Productions has also loaned is truck full of gear.
A transfer of skill is underway from these two industry professionals
to the conservationists in the film crew.
