Hi folks

Bush Telly News will be sent each week to keep you all in the loop in
the runup to filming in March.

Around 150 people and 36 sponsoring organisations are involved in this
effort. Each week you will all get a reminder on what needs to be
done, along with a quick progress report.

So this weeks reminder is ...

Everyone who is being interviewed needs to send in their list of
questions right now. Just write them down and email the questins to me
before Christmas. The crew need these questions to plan out the shots.
The weed interviews are already done.

And progress this week ...

Rossendale is the latest sponsor. They are supplying wine for the
launch on March 9, tree mulch for the set, and pallets for shifting
the native plants from the nurseries.

Sasha Shamilov and Helen Braithwaite were out filming for 3 days this
week. Sasha got a lot of good on location footage for a number of the
interviews.

Ashley/Rakahuri Rivercare Group are supplying and erecting farm
fencing, gates and wire for the film set.

Prebuilding the set is now well underway at the back of Bunnings in
Riccarton by Grant Stephens plus Bush Telly volunteers. You can see
the build if you travel on the new bypass road that goes off the end
of Moorehouse Ave. Should be all finished mid January.

DoC carpenters will be putting up an old musterers hut as part of the
set.

Tracy has finalised the catering menu for feeding the hungry crew in
February - March. Should be a really good nosh.
