We have a situation on a Rocky 9 server, running dbus-broker-28-7.el9.x86_64, in which timedatectl is unable to start systemd-timedated. Restarting dbus-broker fixes this situation, but we are concerned that restarting dbus-broker has detrimental effects on other processes using dbus. I've read that restarting dbus-daemon is considered a bad thing to do, and have not found anything documented to that effect concerning dbus-broker.
Thanks for any insight here.
