The EVS project “Journey to progress” is very flexible project, which
offer participants to find their interest in described working area.
There are many opportunities for people living in big cities, to
explore different way of life in a small town. We are going to define
some basic activities and tasks for every volunteers, all other
activities can be chosen by participants. Every volunteer will have a
different job, considering the interest. The point of it all is that
all volunteers will work together as a team, help each other and if
necessary also switch the roles. Together we will choose one final goal
for everybody, which will be achieved by the end of the project and
will be based on their experiences (for example: create own movie,
write a story about something, create a web page, make some design,
perform an acting, etc.).
Working area:
- video and audio section for our local TV
- journalism for our local web TV (www.kotv.si) and Youth center
- preparation of the concerts, festivals and other events in town
- organization and logistic of the youth work
- technical duties for cultural events like theater, concerts and other festivals
- activities for youth during the summer holidays
- art design and creativity
Tasks
- organizing events (technical and logistic support)
- media support (photo and video coverage of events in town)
- help on street theater, open air festivals, youth work, summer children guardianship,
- preparing workshops for youngsters
- help with international youth projects (youth exhanges)
