Hi!
this is my first post in this google group . . .
1. we had a real terrific gentleman named Dave come by who is a
retired mechanic with time on his hands . . he wants to help out some
more come back on Sat ... i will try to make it on Sat too. . . Scott,
if you can't make it / are away for the long weekend, please, can you
let me / lizanne know so that we can inform Dave, he seems very
interested and we don't want to let him down.
2. Also, our workshop kinda turned into a work party, because we need
to create space so badly. We moved many of the wheels onto hooks and/
or matched them with frames in order to create floor space. The plan
is to line the north and east walls with bike hooks, and to store
relatively "together" bikes in this location. This will be combined
with real effort to create a permanent system for storing steel
recycling, aluminum recycling, donations and large parts like frames
elsewhere than in the garage. The garage needs to be a workspace with
a minimum of storage from now on. This will encourage it's use, and
get more people attacking the pile of used frames.
I will check Can Tire and get all the black hooks that I can, and
bring them Sat, if not thursday to finish that part of the job.

I didn't hear anything about Saturday, did you go to the bike garage? Also I"m wondering if you are coming down on thursday to continue, and if so what time approximately.

couldn't make it saturday, too busy at the bike cage and at work . . . . i am free anytime thursday, when you decide on a time, please post it to the group just to get into the habit of letting everyone know, and if you got Dave's email (or anyone else who is interested) you should invite them . .
