Dear all,
I respond immediately to you all commenting on Ismaels progress so that
the others can benefit.
Thanks to the recently sent sketches, we can finally identify two
alternatives illustrating on two spatial levels the differences between
small-spatially structured, partially lone-standing vertical units and
horizontally attached multi-storey blocks in terms of their spatial
qualities.

You might continue yurselves, individually and collectively, to discuss
the implications which you have set up. I hope that you come to one
reasonable and also valid proposal each in the consequence of discussing
alternatives with yourselves forwards and backwards... because this is the
issue of a masters studio: to enable you individually to set up criteria
for finally evaluating your approaches and then to select on this basis
further-leading concepts + strategies.

I add a photo which I have taken the other day when the tide was out and
Leslie and med went out to the black rock-island and further on into the
sands, near to the deep water for the European ferry line ...you imagine
1-3 or 5 storeys there ...
And another one from an entrance onto a plot behind the railway line…
please mind the fact that the “greenbelt” which has been set up by the
Local Plan, might be interpreted…f.i. by plants on walls and roofs…

happy new year,
AH
