Dear all, please find attached my comments about Izas work. She has a very
good pragmatical approach in terms of zoning the side, i.e. building and
inner and an outer area in order to serve different demands on the land
market... however, the edges are not clearly defined by built form and
some suburban patterns have found unfortunate imitation.
The attempts to re-design the promenade are interesting concerning the
strict linearity and the sheltered sequences of spaces, however, obviously
not "waterproofed" enough towards the seaside... Overall, good attempts,
but not yet worked on enough in terms of different spatial levels. No real
alternatives, no clear arrangement of attractors and connections, no clear
and minimized system of streets...
