Burning Man 2025 Sustainability Update & Invite for Papers

Hey y'all,

Hello! I'm Matt and I'm the Director of Fly Ranch. I wanted to invite y'all to join the Burning Man Project annual sustainability call on July 22 from 11am - 12:30pm PT / 2:00pm - 3:30pm ET.

We welcome your participation and any papers you'd like to write or research you'd like to do about Burning Man and sustainability. There are now ten papers on Google Scholar that cite the 2030 Sustainability Roadmap, including a piece in the William & Mary Environmental Law and Policy Review "There is No Planet 'B'" which concludes that "Burning Man is arguably the most environmentally conscious festival in the United States, albeit not strictly a music festival." We would welcome more. 

Hope you can join the call! I also would be happy to talk with anyone about Fly Ranch public benefits or personal benefits. If you'd like to write about those areas or have other ideas, we'll have a campout at Fly Oct 1 - 5 and you're welcome to join.
