Burning Nerds Meet n Greet at BRC!!

Hello dear Burning Nerds, academics, geeks and other research lovers.
You are all invited to the annual on playa Burning Nerds meet and greet, held on Wednesday, August 27 at 3pm. This year, the meet and greet found a new home at the Black Rock City Census Lab (corner of 6:30 & A, right next to Media Mecca).
The event will start with a short presentation by Jukka-Pekka Heikkilä, a fellow burning nerd, of his Burning Stories project and the use of AI to explore stories from the playa. It will mainly be a moment to meet and socialize with other Burning Nerds, but the BRC Census crew will also be there for those curious about our work. Pink lemonade will be served.
For those of you also interested in the work at the Black Rock City Census Lab, you are also warmly invited to the two other Burning Nerds -friendly event hosted at the BRC Census Lab:
- On Monday 8/25 at 3pm - Get to know Black Rock City Census;
- On Friday, 8/29 at 3pm - Data Release w/ Cocktails and Correlations (discover the sociodemographics of 2025 BRC population, assessed during ingress).
