Blues Dancers,
Want to strut your stuff? Want to see your favorite dancers strut their stuff? Come on out to Burn Blue on Tuesday, October 11!
We'll be holding an advanced strictly and a beginner/intermediate Jack-and-Jill. Prelims are held before the beginning lesson: show up at 7:45 so that we can take names, give numbers, and get the prelims done so that we can give our community a great final round. There will be a small admissions fee of $2.00, which will pad the prizes for the first place winners. Also on the line are private lessons from awesome local instructors!
Advanced Strictly:
Teacher? Professional dancer? Planning to take part in the ECBF competitions? Have a dance partner with whom you can dazzle your peers? You've probably been blues dancing for at least three years and your friends like to dance with you—and watch you dance. You should compete in the strictly! Find a partner you dance well with and let's see what the two of you can do!
Beginning/Intermediate Jack & Jill:
If you've been blues dancing for at least six months to no more than about three or four years and consider yourself a beginning to intermediate level dancer (and have no plans to compete in the Advanced Strictly)? You qualify for the Beginner and Intermediate Jack & Jill: you'll get paired up with a random partner at each stage of the competition.
Judges include Karissa Lightsmtih, Karen Smith, and more cool peeps. Prizes include CASH and private lessons from great local instructors!
Note: dancing in either competition disqualifies you from the other.
