Important Burn Blue News:
This is your last chance to voice your input on how Burn Blue will raise it's rates. Please visit http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/CFHWFZY before 5pm Tuesday (11/15/11).
Why is Burn Blue raising it's rates?
Over the last few months, we have analyzed our finances and become aware that Burn Blue, despite lowering our costs, has been operating in a deficit. In addition, we've been made aware of a "dance tax" that we need to factor into our door price. Unfortunately, the "dance tax" is also being applied retroactively. We are increasing rates to address the new tax and declining revenue. In addition to increasing rates, we will be fundraising to address back taxes and interest applied to those taxes.
In an effort to offset these increases and further promote the Burn Blue mission, we plan to implement a Dance Class Punch-card which will offer a discount when multiple dance lessons (that include free dance admission) are purchased in-full ahead of time.
We hope to announce new dance rates and punch-card rates at this week's Burn Blue. New rates will go into effect the first Tuesday of December.
A reminder: the venue is 18+ and the bar area is fully stocked and 21+ only.
As usual, Burn Blue is going to be nothing less than awesome this week, we've got:

One of the really exciting things about this venue is that it's also a really cool bar, so invite your non-dancing friends too.
