The salary range for this position is $77,459.20 - $94,161.60 and the
application closing date is 12/18/2009.
- Participates in the development and implementation of Stormwater
Management program goals, objectives, policies, and procedures; works
closely with partner division and department staff to develop and
implement program area work plans and projects that achieve
identified program goals and objective.
- Interprets regulatory requirements and analyzes impacts to City
processes, operations, and services; proposes changes to programs and
services based on regulatory objectives.
- Develops work plan for assigned stormwater program area;
facilitates the implementation of work activities, projects, and
programs; monitors workflow and maintains timelines; reviews and
evaluates work methods, and procedures; develops guidelines and
documentation of best management practices.
- Serves as subject matter expert in a specialized technical area or
with a key stormwater pollutants of concern such as pesticides or trash.
- Analyzes regulations and proposed legislation; tracks and
participates in legislative or regulatory processes related to key
pollutants; develops position statements related to proposed
regulation/legislation (such as product related legislation, EPA's
pesticide registration process, or CA Department of Pesticide
Regulation pesticide evaluations).
