You are invited to join us for a webinar entitled Using Level of Traffic Stress To Build Great Bike Infrastructure on Thursday, September 14 at 10 AM by the inventor of the Level of Traffic Stress (LTS) concept, Professor Peter G. Furth of Northeastern University.
If you've ever wondered whether a proposed bike lane, shared street, or other design at any given location is actually comfortable enough for the variety of people who ride, or would like to ride, then this webinar is for you! LTS is an objective measurement that engineers, planners, and advocates can use to determine how comfortable a design will likely be in a given context, and the type of riders likely to use it.
LTS concepts will be applied to two Vermont streets during the webinar. There will also be an opportunity for participants to ask questions and share perspectives, as time permits.
