2. DPW Updates (20 min)
We’ll get updates from DPW on various on-going and upcoming plans and projects, including the city’s Transportation Plan
3. Repainting (20 min)
We’ll get an update from DPW and have a discussion on the schedule and prioritization for repainting crosswalks, street lines, and other street markings.
4. Open Streets (20 min)
We’ll start a conversation on having an Open Streets event on World Car Free Day, Sept 22, including who can help coordinate it.
4. Group Bike Ride (20 min)
We’ll also start a conversation about having a regional group bike ride.
Previous Meeting – At the April 2nd, 2025 meeting, we had a joint meeting with the South Burlington Bicycle & Pedestrian Committee to discuss ways to collaborate on connections between the two cities.

The BWBC is an all-volunteer advisory council to the City of Burlington. We work closely with and advise the Department of Public Works and the Department of Parks, Recreation, & Waterfront on infrastructure improvements and policy changes for walking and bicycling. DPW has requested that the agenda be modified somewhat as they will not be ready to update us on repainting right now, but they would like to include an update on the PlanBTV Walk-Bike Action Plan.
