Please join us for the November 6 meeting of the Burlington Walk/Bike Council with a packed agenda focused primarily on the short-term plans for changes on Battery St. and the current draft plans for changes to the Colchester-Barrett-Riverside intersection in conjunction with the Burlington-Winooski Bridge project.  If we have time, we'll also have a discussion with Local Motion on their legislative priorities for 2025.

November 6th, 2024, Wednesday 5:30 – 7:00 pm

  1. Local Motion Legislative Priorities for 2025 (15 min)

Local Motion will provide a brief summary of state legislative changes in 2024, plus their draft priorities for 2025.  If there is not enough time for this topic, we will save it for the December 4 meeting.

Previous Meeting – At the October 2nd, 2024 meeting, we met with Mayor Emma Mulvaney-Stanak, who shared her vision for the future of walking and biking in the city and responded to questions and comments from attendees.

Next Month:  BWBC Meets Wednesday, December 4th, 2024, 5:30 – 7:00 pm

The BWBC is an all-volunteer advisory council to the City of Burlington. We work closely with and advise the Department of Public Works and the Department of Parks, Recreation, & Waterfront on infrastructure improvements and policy changes for walking and bicycling. The council also leads advocacy efforts and organizes events and activities that promote and celebrate walking and biking in Burlington and beyond.  See BWBC Webpage and Meeting Minutes and Agendas
