Join us at Monday's Burlington's City Council meeting where we'll ask the City to help us make Shelburne Road safe for everyone.
Several hundred people have signed the petition we launched last week. Read it here if you aren't aware of what's happening on Shelburne Road, or just haven't signed yet.
While the recent fatal crashes have occurred in South Burlington, this issue affects Burlington, and it has an important role to play in making change. Several of the people recently killed on Shelburne Road were Burlington residents, including Joseph Byrd Allen (Byrdman), Sean Hayes, and Chriss Zuckerman.

Not sure what to say at Monday's meeting? Consider sharing your experiences/perception of Shelburne Road, especially as someone walking, biking, or riding the bus, and asking that the City help make change.
What: Shelburne Road Advocacy @ Burlington City Council
When: Monday, 11/18 at 6 PM
Where: Contois Auditorium at Burlington City Hall, or online (if attending online, make sure to sign up to speak at least one hour prior to the beginning of public forum).
And: Vermonters for People Oriented Places (VPOP) is organizing a ride to the City Council meeting, leaving from Battery Park at 5 PM.
