August BREW get together - Sat. 8/13

Howdy good people...
As I mentioned a ways back, I'd like to host a special meeting in
August this year. The date will be Saturday August 13th... time
TBD... but we will be doing a bbq, campfire, and campout. We have a
large, roughly 1/2 acre, backyard for people to campout, and it's
supposed to be a full moon, so lots of light for nightime game or just
chillin.
We discussed a style challenge... and had somewhat agreed on a
saison... but, if you haven't already started one, it will be
difficult to have one ready by then. It's not out of the question,
but definitely difficult. I'd like to suggest to continue with that
if you want, but also open it up to any "lawnmower" beers or summer
beers that people might be working on. We can get to a specific style
meeting sometime down the road, which will be educational and a lot of
fun... But, for now, let's enjoy the summer season.
I'm working on making this a joint meeting with the Green Mountain
Mashers as well. Lots of cool people in that group, and this seems
like a great opportunity to socialize the two homebrew clubs.
We'll probably provide a nice pancake breakfast the next morning. And
Welzy - Kirsten can have the spare bedroom... but since it's a full
moon... you better have your hospital bag packed!

membership overlap, but there's another local beer-related event
(maybe) that same day:

So the BA event is actually August 6th, but yes, there is a Hill
Farmstead event that day. Unfortunately, the 13th is the only date in
August we can host this.
