Democracy in Action - March to Burlington City Council Meeting

This should be big.

I mean it promises to be big.

I also mean that we ought to make it BIG!

On July 29 the BPD attacked us with riot gear, firing point blank with weapons that have lethal capability.  They were backed up by state troopers, and homeland security, etc., etc.  

Our crime?

Inconveniencing the 1% for a few minutes...

...while sitting on a bus...

.... an air-conditioned bus...

....en route to a super posh dinner at Shelburne Farms.

We made no move to injure anyone or their precious conveyance,  nor did we threaten to.

Why the riot gear and assault when there was no riot, or threat of a riot?

(Would these guys even know a riot if they saw one?)

City Council Meeting Public Comments commences

I say: let's stun them with our rage on the march, then sandbag them at the city council meeting.
