Puffin Web Browser Free is an Internet browser whose main strengths, compared to competing apps for Android, are speed and excellent support for flash, which comes with it. That's right: with this browser, you can run pages (or games) in flash.

This means you can watch any video or play any flash game without problems directly from your browser. The only drawback is that, depending on the website in question, the device might slow down a bit. But, of course, this is better than nothing.

Besides this very slight drawback, Puffin Web Browser Free is a very fast browser with a good tab system and the option to block pop-ups automatically. It also includes a keyboard, mouse, and virtual gamepad so you can take full advantage of your ability to play flash games. Just click on the corresponding button and activate it at the bottom of the screen.

Uptodown is a multi-platform app store specialized in Android. Our goal is to provide free and open access to a large catalog of apps without restrictions, while providing a legal distribution platform accessible from any browser, and also through its official native app.

I recently downloaded and purchased the puffin browser from the App Store as I'm a tv addict and it was recommended as it's good to use for watching things on. However, upon downloading it I discovered there was an issue with it. A window kept popping up saying "connect to server, portal error, network diagnostics". I then clicked into network diagnostics and went through 3 steps which basically told me everything was okay and to wait a moment and restart the browser again. Which I have done about a billion times and still, no solution. So basically I'm just wondering is there any suggestions or solutions to fix this? Thanks!

I Had this same problem too, all I did to fix it was to go to settings, scroll down on the side bar on the left, to Puffin, then click on that and turn on "Use HTTP tunnel" It worked for me and now my puffin is as good as new!

I'm somewhere on their website I read, that from 1 June or July they closed, the free version of their app has already shut down flash support yesterday, and the paid version gradually turned off, and the reviews about it in Appstore!

Checked other sites - works on them! But my wife plays on a certain site in the game, and there does not work just, that's the problem!) Maybe I should talk to the support on this site! But everything worked until recently!

do you understand my comments? it's better you write to Puffin to let them know your support on IOS and leave your issue to the link I provided above. You should close now this discussion as it has nothing to do with Flash plugin.

Also if I told to leave a feedback EVEN if Puffin browser is stopped that's because behind any software there are humans who can change their mind at anytime, for example if a big amount of users start to complain so it will show that the demand is still high and will change their strategy.

What makes you think they haven't stopped supporting IOS? There should be other applications, I searched a little, but those about which I read them too are not already in AppStore! But there must be other applications, that's what it is, why should I communicate with puffin, they light wedge did not converge!

Puffin offers other advantages that may be of interest to some users. For one, it supports Adobe Flash on all versions of Android. This too is "over the cloud" support but the effect is the same. You can play Flash games, videos and other contents on your device.

In addition to basic Flash controls, Puffin supports specialized controls such as full screen video, a virtual gamepad to make gaming easier, and a trackpad to simulate mouse operations on desktop devices.

The settings provide you with access to other customizations as well. You can enable do not track, clear browsing data, set a download folder for all downloads that is either on the device or in the cloud -- Dropbox is supported -- change the browser's homepage, or enable tab synchronization with Chrome.

Puffin data centers are located in the US, and while people from the US can access all local contents, people from outside the US may not. This means that contents such as Pandora or Hulu may not be available if you use Puffin and are located outside the US.

Some users may have privacy concerns as page contents do get rendered on a remote server. The developers state that all traffic is encrypted, but that does not really resolve the underlying issue that the contents are available on remote servers for a short period of time.

Moving the page rendering from the browser to the cloud can be highly beneficial to users of low-performance devices. Instead of having to wait a long time until a page is rendered completely, the rendering itself may be completed a lot faster as most of the heavy lifting is handled in the cloud.

hi there yeah there now 2 browsers useing tile like windows 8 puffin browser on ios android and now smart browser also has same interphase who sayed that tiles windows 8 live tiles apps wont sell live tiles are more popular then regular apps

And THEN, once THAT happens, you suddenly look back on how you let Microsoft manipulate you, and use IE to make you upgrade OS versions and stuff; and how you settled for sub-standard browser helper objects that even the worst Chrome extensions can out-perform, for so long, and you feel embarrassed.

I wish to play flash content in iPad app so i searched lot then finally i came to know Puffin browser will play flash content. In my app when user tapping a button the app redirected to puffin browser then it will play the flash content. then again if try to re-open my app from puffin browser i could not re-open it.I created URL Scheme for my app. after completion of flash video, i tried to open my app by using myApp:// in puffin browser but it does not re-open my app. if try same way in safari its working. Please help me

External URL opening will be supported in the next version. Do you mean you want to manually type "MyApp://SomeUrl" in Puffin and then open MyApp with SomeUrl? Is your app free to download? I'd like to give it a trial.

Other features include QR codes for adding your favorite sites to the app and support for Adobe Flash when needed. The browser's servers are based in the US, meaning you will see the American version of the sites you visit.

Unfortunately, Puffin TV Browser isn't free. Like other Puffin browsers, the TV Browser app requires a paid subscription to work. But it doesn't really cost much and is certainly worth the comfort it provides. It also offers a free 7-day trial, so you can try it out before committing.

Oddly, Chrome is not pre-installed on the Android TV operating system, and it is perhaps even stranger that there's no dedicated Android TV version of the app. Therefore, it is not available on the Android TV Play Store.

However, this does not stop you from installing Chrome on your Android TV. You can install the app on your Android TV box using the web version of the Play Store, and some devices will even let you install the app using a voice command. Keep in mind that you'll need a sideload launcher to access sideloaded apps on your Android TV device.

One of the cons is that Chrome probably won't work with your existing Android TV remote, making it a little more awkward to use than other options. Also, it's likely that most of the Chrome extensions won't function properly on Android TV.

The DuckDuckGo browser comes with all the anti-tracking capabilities of its search engine counterpart. In addition to its privacy features, the DuckDuckGo browser also has a clean and user-friendly interface. It includes all the basic features you would expect from a browser, such as tabs, bookmarks, and a history section.

Unlike Google Chrome, DuckDuckGo works with your TV remote. However, navigation is a bit spotty since the app isn't optimized for Android TV. Despite this, it's still a great option for those who value their privacy and security online.

As the name implies, Open TV Browser was made specifically for Android TV. It lets you stream movies, series, anime, games, and more without ads. It also features popular sites, actual news, user-friendly tabs, incognito search, parental controls, and bookmarks.

Open TV Browser lets you switch your user agent between desktop, mobile, tablet, Android TV, and even Apple TV. This way, you're not forced to view the mobile version of the websites. You can even change the default search engine to whatever you like.

It includes features such as bookmarks, browsing history, search engine shortcuts, and cookie blockers. The app also has a web video player that lets you enjoy videos on the big screen with features like bookmarks and subtitles.

After you've installed the app on both devices, connect them to the same network. Then, launch the Steam Link app on your Android TV and follow the instructions to pair it with your PC. Once connected, you can use your Android TV remote or a gaming controller to navigate your desktop and browse the web.

The process is possible because GameStream lets you manually add any game through the GeForce Experience app on your PC. If you add C:\Windows\System32\mstsc.exe (the Remote Desktop Connection app), you can view your computer's desktop in seconds.
