I have a really annoying problem. A few days ago I still had the old AMD Ryzen Master Program on it. That was out of date and when I pressed update nothing happened. That's why I uninstalled it and wanted to reinstall the new AMD Master.
Of course I wanted to open the program, but nothing happened. There was also no link to the desktop. I deleted the AMD folder that was created during installation 100 times and reinstalled the program. I have already deleted all files with AMD master.
Delete the AMD_RyzenMaster.log which will be left over from your previous install and try again. Once i done that it installed first go. Such a pain dealing with lazy uninstall packages but hey its a fix!
I had ryzen master 2.0.0.1192 installed and working yesterday using my 2700x. I then updated to beta bios for my MSI B450I motherboard and put in my 3700x cpu. Upon start of windows when it tried to launch ryzen master I got something like "CPU not supported" or similar. I then uninstalled and reinstalled Ryzen master and after that I get the "driver not installed properly" on every start of ryzen master, so I cant get it running at all.
Same exact issue... was able to get it working once and then that was it. Getting the same error message. Asus Rog X470-i / 3700X. Also had the issue with Aura.. interestingly enough lol was able to get it working by uninstalling every component of Aura and reinstalling, but my motherboard's rgb still isn't recognized so that's still crappy.
Having the exact same issue with the Ryzen Master app not installing and uninstalling properly (Driver not installed!). Ryzen 3700X with an MSI x570 A-Pro motherboard. It's become super annoying and the stock motherboard settings have the CPU voltage at 1.47V...
After continuing to encounter this issue and after experimenting more about what causes it, it seems that waiting a short time after the desktop appears, perhaps 30 seconds, can help with launching Ryzen Master. But once it gets "damaged", uninstalling + rebooting + re-installing may be necessary.
Ryzen Master seems quite sensitive to any changes made to the BIOS/CMOS setup. Such a change sometimes requires a re-install of the software. In addition, any kind of CPU or system instability, such as a crash while testing overclocking settings, tends to require a re-installation of Ryzen Master.
I am able to install AMD Ryzen Master or so the app tells me. When I select "Launch" nothing happens. It is not installed and there are no Registry entries to be found on RyzenMaster or Ryzen Master to remove as suggested. This is a brand new Windows 10 installation and if highly frustrating....
What you should do is start RegEdit and under HKey_Local_Machine, System, CurrentControlSet, Services, RyzenMasterDriver (it might have a number behind it - see below) and make sure that the path to the file "AMDRyzenMasterDriver.sys" is properly entered under the option, "ImagePath".
If you have done a default installation of Ryzen Master then you should be seeing this "\??\C:\Program Files\AMD\RyzenMaster\bin\AMDRyzenMasterDriver.sys". If you see something else then replace whatever garbage has been put in there with what I have in quotes above (DON'T copy the quotation marks).
If you have multiple entries for AMDRyzenMasterDriver with different numbers preceded by a "V" (which relates to the version number) currently that would be "V19" then delete the entry or entries with the lower "V" numbers and then check what I posted above.
If you have 2 folder with similar names > AMDRyzenMasterDriver > AMDRyzenMasterDriverV14,15,18,19 whatever version, delete this one AMDRyzenMasterDriverV?.
Now select the carpet and go to "Image Path" if this path looks like "\??\C:\Program Files\AMD\RyzenMaster\bin\AMDRyzenMasterDriver.sys" it's corrupted > Click right and MODIFY and copy this path " C:\Program Files\AMD\RyzenMaster\bin\AMDRyzenMasterDriver.sys " OK and Restart your computer and Problem Fixed.
The temps look just fine to me ,and the ryzens draws more voltage by design so undervolting might not be the best of ideas. i suspect there are losses due to the design being chiplet style.
from what i gather around 80c is where the ryzen cpu starts to down clock .
only thing i would tweak with is fans curves if it gets too bothersome.

On a previous forum I asked if I could use Crucial Ballistix 3200 MHz DDR4 DRAM Desktop Gaming Memory Kit 16GB (8GBx2) CL16 BL2K8G32C16U4B with JEDEC profiles. After finding out it can only run at 26667mhz, is it safe to overclock it to 3200mhz on the Victus by HP 15L Gaming Desktop TG02-0325m using ryzen master? Will this make my pc unstable/cause it to crash or shutdown? Will this void my warrenty? I am not changing any voltages or anything just the speed and maybe a few timings
As mentioned previously, you can use any available software ad nauseam to try to get your Ballistix 3200 MHz RAM as installed in your Victus by HP 15L Gaming Desktop TG02-0325m (59A32AV_1) to run at said 3200 MHz. It will either work or not -sadly likely not (I would love to be proven wrong, though), but whatever the outcome, it will not endanger your Gaming Desktop or void your warranty.
Turn off this setting:
PC Settings > Windows Update > Windows Security > Device Security > Core Isolation > Memory Integrity (alternatively use the Search Function and search for Core Isolation). Ensure it remains off after a reboot.
If you check the document of VBS: -us/windows-hardware/design/device-experiences/oem-vbs , you will know that it's a feature using hardware virtualisation to enhance system security. Thus if you disabled virtualisation support in BIOS, the VBS is naturally disabled. If you only play game and not use any kind of virtual machine, your method is good.
I have a friend who also experiencing the same issue, but he heavily use VMs, so SVM can not be disabled, and the other issue is VBS will be automatically enabled after reboot, so far he hasn't found any solution.
SVM is disabled.
So far nothing has allowed me to launch ryzenmaster without getting the VBS error (outside of being able to launch when the computer was new).
any other suggestions that work?
[Edit - Microsoft Defender Application Guard is now off and still no joy]
I've also tried disabling VBS in the Device Guard Group Policy (GPEdit) which seems to only be a temporary fix. After a day or so of regular use and a couple reboots the system appears to restore itself and I'm right back to where I started with the same error message:
As an update, it turns out there are multiple System Components that utilize VBS (I mistakenly assumed only Hyper-V did) and they must all be uninstalled via Programs & Features > Turn Windows Features On or Off.
That's wrong. Intel VT / AMD-V / SVM / Hyper-V / Windows Hypervisor Platform / Virtual Machine Platform is Virtualization. Virtualization Based Security USES (as the name suggests) Virtualization, not the other way around. Naturally, if you disable virtualization, VBS will be disabled too, since it doesn't work without.
Though, it's not like VBS is the only thing that uses Virtualization. Many other things depend on it, and these things tend to be commonly used by software developers, like Android Studio (for developing android apps), Windows Subsystem for Linux, etc
Correct however VBS is not used unless there is software installed that uses it, hence the suggestion to remove the software that uses it. MarcP-6643's idea of disabling SVM is more drastic as it impacts more than just software that utilizes VBS (there are virtualization programs and Windows security systems that can utilize SVM but don't use VBS).
That software that VBS uses is Windows Hypervisor Platform, Virtual Machine Platform, Microsoft Defender Application Guard. So by deactivating those, you disable VBS since VBS can't run without it. The reason VBS is disabled after removing those features is NOT that these features use VBS, and now since they're disabled VBS is disabled too.
