Hi Daniel

Thanks for this. Based on what you might’ve seen for other buildings, do you have an idea of what LinkFire might charge for attendance to switch on and off the fire alarm system (ie what Balmoral Fire charged us $750 for)?

While some OC management firms will have preference to keep suppliers streamlined and assist with leverage when issues arise, TC doesn’t have any preferred provider it recommends as a preferred provider.

 

If you asked for my guidance based on my experience dealing with ESM companies within buildings, I would recommend LinkFire as being ahead of the others. Not the cheapest, tend to identify lots of defects which could be seen as a negative. However, if something Is non-compliant and it’s reported, I’d be inclined to support this as them ‘doing their job’. Their service is great, attentiveness to issues is fast, they do their inspections on time in line with the OP and always send in their reports promptly after inspections are completed and always provide a quote for any defects noted during inspections.
