Hey Everyone!

Who is Al Sprague you ask?  Al is the first professional artist I ever met while living in Panama.  Al is best know for his work that celebrates Panama.  When I decided to do a Panama travel poster, I thought it would be appropriate to do a collaboration of sorts.  i reached out to him on Facebook and asked if I may do a study of one of his paintings in my style. 

I knew this would be a fun challenge as our styles are completely different and we have focused on different disciplines in our careers, but when doing a study, one starts to see the similarities and common foundations of composition.  Along with my travel poster, I am attaching an image of Al's painting I studied.  If you would like to see more of Al's work, I will also attach a link to his website here. https://www.alspragueart.com/painting-panama
