Open Water Races

Hi Masters swimmers,

I'm reaching out to everyone to generate interest in open water events and also get a sense of who is already planning to participate in an event.

Take a look at the local calendar below (full New England calendar here: https://www.nelmsc.org/calendar) and reply to the group if you are interested in any open water races. Hopefully you will inspire others to join you!

I personally plan to swim in the OTILLO in Portland Maine with John Langton and possibly Celebrate the Clean Harbor Open Water Swimming Festival (1.2 mi) in Gloucester on August 17th.  I could also be talked into the Celebrate the Harbor Relay if someone wants to pair up with me and swim 5 x 1 mile each.

I'll be swimming the two in Salem, 10/11 August, 2mi on Sat and 5k on Sun. And the Boston Light Swim on 17 August. 

This'll be my second year doing the Salem ones. Very well put together and organized. Can recommend them.
