Hi!
Love the new update, but one thing is driving me a bit insane. The fonts have changed. I know that I can change the typeface in the settings but I cannot find what was used before.
Do anyone knows ? Thanks!
I know that it will come with a new release. Nevertheless I hope it will come soon. Changing the font size or at least the chosen font a little bit bigger would be great. In this way it is really hard for me to work with bear 2.0.
One missing feature that would make the app perfect for me would be more customization with pdf exports. A lot of my writing in Bear is typing up outlines to be used for presentation notes. I love the beauty of how the text looks in Bear and want to use it how I see it in Bear. However, PDF export seems to default to a default theme/font size that cannot be changed. It would be amazing if PDF export could either reflect the current theme/font size in the editor or be customized upon export. Especially, the font size would be helpful as the default is too small for me to use as presentation notes. Of course other options like margins, page size, etc. would all be great. Hope that makes sense.
Editor in 2.0 is very nice. Is there a plan for font settings:
Font Size: user can set size number or slider to change font size for global.
Font Family: user can select a font-family, support custom font-family for global.
Font color: user can set font color for part of text in a note ( not for global )
How will we be able to install our custom fonts?
Access to system fonts is surely easier on macOS but what about custom fonts on iOS?
Will we be able to install a font by using drag and drop? Or embed it in CSS?
I love the font I have so would like to keep that, and only when hovering the navigation bar I would like it to reveal a different font. (whilst also keeping my current animation of the line moving across the bottom of each word on hover)
This adorable little font is made to be stitched using your 5x7" hoop and on average has only 9 colour changes. Most letters can be stitched using your 4x4" hoop with the exception of letters M and W as they are wider.
Coffee Bear is a hand drawn brush font. It comes with uppercase and lowercase characters, large set of punctuation glyphs, numerals, cyrillic characters, set of alternative latin characters, ligatures and multilingual support.
Among the many new features in Bear 2 is our own custom font, Bear Sans. Being a writing (and reading) app, we have quite a few users who care about how their text looks while they work. We thought it would be fun to explore the how and why Bear Sans came to be the new face of Bear.
An Electronic Doc license is based on the number of publications in which the font is used. Each issue counts as a separate publication. Regional or format variations don't count as separate publications.
We'll supply a kit containing webfonts that can be used within digital ads, such as banner ads. This kit may be shared with third parties who are working on your behalf to produce the ad creatives, however you are wholly responsible for it.
Webfonts can be used on a single domain. Agencies responsible for multiple websites, for example web design agencies or hosting providers, may not share a single webfont license across multiple websites.
Every time the webpage using the webfont kit is loaded (i.e, the webfont kit CSS which holds the @font-face rule is called) the counting system counts a single pageview for each webfont within the webfont kit.
Mama Bear is a playful, neat, children's book typeface. It is cute and happy, very legible and comes with extensive language support, including the 'schwa' glyph found in a handful of languages. Mama Bear was inspired by my 16 month old son, who loves his fluffy bear and likes to play hide and seek.
Sometimes children get accustomed to letters in only one font. When they see the same letters in other fonts, they are unable to recognize them because they are so used to only one font. I have noticed Little Bear falling into this rut a little bit lately, so I have been making an extra effort to point out letters in lots of different fonts. Little Bear has been doing much better recognizing lots of different fonts, but I decided to incorporate the different fonts into a cut and paste page.
This cut and paste worksheet for preschool has 12 letters on the top, then the same 12 letters on the bottom. To complete the cut and paste work, have your child cut out the letters on the bottom (with the dotted lines) and then glue them to the letter on the top that matches. The only trick to this activity is that the letters are all in different fonts.
First, you must consider the intended use of the font. What is the primary purpose of the design? A font that looks great as initials in a logo may not work as well for text on a menu. Take your audience into account. Remember who will be viewing your font selection and adjust.

The custom fonts feature is essential if you're using Bannerbear to generate images for your brand or clients. In this situation, many times there will be font guidelines or precedent that you must follow to keep things looking consistent.
Note that the Custom Fonts feature is currently in beta - I have tested with some popular fonts that I have on my computer, plus some fonts that users have given me to test. But it would be impossible to test with all fonts in existence! There's just too many out there. So if you try this feature out and it doesn't work as expected, do reach out to [email protected]
I think app designers perhaps had in mind touchscreen typers/writers on the iPad so the default font size was quite small and it was fitting for that. If one uses then a wireless keyboard though (which many are starting to use) my eyes are farther from the screen... even if I have my reading glasses with me, it is not that easy to read. Good contrast, brightness, AND bigger fonts are important if one wants to avoid eye strain. So I think, a bigger font is needed.
On my Mac and on my android phone I can easily increase the view size and the page auto adjusts. There seems to be no View enlargement option for my iPad. To me this is an even bigger issue than the actual font size issue. Why can the view not be changed?
I need a javascript solution to search all the text in a < div class="page-content entry-content" > of a website find only the phrase "FuzzyBears" and make it lowercase using CSS style .fuzzy font-weight:500; text-transform: lowercase; and also change "Bears" in the phrase to use CSS style .bear font-weight:800; color:red, without changing any instances of the word "bear" used in sentences that is not part of the phrase "FuzzyBears".
This is intended to be a replacement for the core fontcolor Atto plugin, allowing the Moodle administrator to freely define a set of colors that can be used by users. If allowed by the administrator, users can also use a color picker to chose any possible color.
