The Acrobat PDF converter lets you export PDF files to the following file types: DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, JPEG, JPG, PNG, and TIFF. Simply drag and drop or upload a PDF into the tool drop zone to convert your file. The tool also lets you convert these file formats to PDF using any web browser: DOCX, DOC, XLSX, XLS, PPTX, PPT, TEXT, TXT, RTF, BMP, GIF, JPEG, JPG, PNG, TIFF, and TIF.

You can also try Adobe Acrobat Pro for free for seven days to convert HTML to PDF documents, edit PDF files, edit scans with OCR, annotate files, merge PDFs, split PDFs, reduce file size, and set file permissions.

I got an email that says "Google files in Dropbox will be replaced with shortcuts to documents in Google Drive" and "If you do not wish to move your Google files to your Google account, they will be automatically converted to Microsoft files." I'm not sure which option to choose. I mostly use Dropbox to store Word files, most of which were originally created using Microsoft Word but since I usually use Dropbox in a web browser, I've been opening them and creating them using Google docs for years now. Which option is least likely to result in reformatting issues? Which will be easiest to use going forward if I'm mostly just editing and creating text documents?

What will happen when this migration takes place, is that your Google files will become .web files in Dropbox that point to the same file in Google Drive, so you can edit and share the file through Google directly.

Apologies up front if this is already addressed, but if so, I can't find it. I need help understanding the Dropbox/Google changes that are taking place. Here is my simplistic reading. If I search my Dropbox account for .gdoc, .gsheet, or .gslide files (I've only found one), those files will be moved to google drive unless I convert them (it) to a Microsoft format. Even if I don't convert it and it moves, there will still be a link from Dropbox to the google drive file. Is this all correct?

Hi, I got an email saying this migration had happened but never saw the email that warned me it was going to take place to stop it. Can I revert back to Google files? How do I stop this from happening again? thanks!

***UPDATE: I just tried making a new Google Doc, using their API and I received a 500: Internal Server Error so I am concerned that when the files migrate, they will yield the same response error. Is that how you will be moving the files to Drive?

Hello, I am trying to convert multiple files with different extensions using the 'ConvertFile' automation, so that it can be display on the layout. However, when there are different types of files in one incident, it keeps giving me an error. What would be the best way to list all files and convert them by EntryID? Here what I currently have configure with the fields and transformations.

What error are you getting? ConvertFile can handle multiple files of different types with no issues (just tested on my instance), so if there's an issue with what you've got it seems likely it's in the Filter/Transformer section.

I was able to get this error: "Failed converting file. General exception: failed to get artifact file path, invalid file (52)" by manually deleting the referenced files from /var/lib/demisto/artifacts - can you check that directory to make sure the expected files are still there?

I prepared manifest file using all FASTQ sequences and now I need to prepare a metadata file. Is it a must? Also, how to convert the manifest file (CSV) into .qza.

My facility gave me a yml file with only one line as a metadata file but I am sure this is not metadata file. metadata should be a table.

The metadata file that is discussed here is your clinical/environmental information associated with your samples. You should have collected this (ideally) when you collected yoru samples. It might come from your animal facility, chart review, a survey, etc, etc, etc. You can see the QIIME-specific metadata requirements here.

For my work I have 986 files that are in the .oir (Olympus) format. Our institute got the chance to play around with a new Olympus confocal and I do not have access to their software. Eager to see how my images came out, I installed the Olympus plugin on ImageJ (technically I am running FIJI, version 1.51g) and was able to open the files and play around with them.

There is a post by @ctrueden in another thread that might be helpful for you. Especially the Process_Folder.ijm macro. You can replace lines 28 and 29 with the loading mechanism of the Olympus plugin as recorded by the Plugins > Macros > Record command. For more information take a look at the Introduction to Macro Programming page of the ImageJ wiki.

when i change copy and move = false the script without the convert plugin will save the tags to the file in its source dir/file. As soon as i throw in the convert plugin it makes a mp3 in the Complete folder and the directory names are named for the path. So the new path is /DATA/lidarr/Complete/_/DATA/lidarr/Compete.mp3

As to the byte sequences - YES - modern VW files have a header you can read with a text editor. Older MiniCAD files, not so much. I'm not sure when the header became human readable. My suggestion, open a file in a text editor and see if you can make anything out. If not, no harm done. Just don't save it with the text editor!

You will need to contact Vectorworks Support for this file. It appears to be a MC 7 file, but it was created by a BETA version of the software and the file format is not the same as released versions. Unless you open it with the right beta version it is not readable. Hopefully the engineers in the Mother Ship can help you.

Good news. On a whim I tried a later version of VW to see what would happen and VW 8.5.2 opened the file. In you email you ask if I can export as a DWG file. I can, but I may not pick the settings you'd like. That kind of translation is somewhat "personal" and is often done several times before it exports to your liking. What version of VW do you have? I was able to bring it up to VW 2018, but that won't do you any good if you don't have it.

I've just add a Wish List Item on this topic. I think a Cloud based Mini Cad file conversion would be a helpful addition to service select. If you think so you may want to add your opine to the thread.

You forgot to mention which version of VW you are currently using. Since the latest versions will open at least back to VW 2013, I saved your files in that format. If you need an earlier version, let me know.

Did you ever get these files converted? Apologies for the long delay, but I have been out of circulation for the last few months. I was able to convert your files today to VW 2021 format, but if you need them in an older version I can do that, too. I did not convert them to DWG because there are a lot of fonts in your files that I don't have on my machine. VW uses font substitution in such instances. I believe if you open the updated files on your machine then you would see the correct fonts, and your DWG conversion would look much cleaner.

I, too, have an ancient file from 2004 that I would LOVE to be able to view, if not edit. (It's a family tree, and as it happens, a distant relative just reached out.) I don't actually know if it's MiniCAD or VectorWorks -- I am guessing the latter? -- but if anyone is willing to help, I'd be delighted to have it in any format. I no longer have access to VW software.

Now, I'm giving them to a surveyor. OBVIOUSLY, he uses Autocad only.

I'm not a technician, and so I installed only the VW viewer, not the full program (that I cannot use).

Please, could someone open my 5 files and save them into DWG or DXF format?

I have a very old .mcd file I am hoping someone may be able to convert to a more current format for me. Ultimately I would like to be able to use the file moving forward as it's a floor plan with measurements, emergency exits, fire extinguishers etc.
