Arethere any third party apps that would support this mount? I tried Stellarium Plus, gave it the mount's IP & port 4030. The AM5 was found, but the mount didn't respond to common probes, including the LX200 command set. I thought maybe it is supposed to understand the LX200 commands because the ZWO web site says "LX200 compatible", but doesn't explain what that is supposed to mean. I figured this was it.
Apps like Stellarium provide a full screen red screen, hiding the Android navigation buttons and other parts that ruin a red screen, plus let you search anything including star designations like "Beta Orionis" & store observing lists or favorites. These are where the ASI Mount app sorely lacks, and I don't want to have to use a computer beyond a tablet or phone for visual.
INDIGO is actually compatible with Windows ( -astronomy/indigo), just there is no ready made turnkey suite (like ASIAIR). You just have to add the components yourself (Ekos, PHD2, etc), or control INDIGO from its web interface. For the macOS, they have built a turnkey suite that I linked to.
Another other thing you can try if you have a Raspberry Pi 4 is to load the INDIGO Sky firmware in it. You can then control INDIGO Sky (and thus your mount) through INDIGO's web (http) interface just like you can control it from a Windows laptop that runs INDIGO:
With either INDIGO or INDIGO SKy, turn on the driver for your mount right in the web interface, and you should have control over WiFi to your mount. The web interface is complete enough to include a sky planetarium in the mount component for GOTOs, and be able to preview and capture images in the camera component (and yes, you can open multiple web browsers, one to control the mount, and the other to control the camera, etc).
I searched and searched, but did not find: Is there any way to disable the red, rotating "plus" sign around selected objects? I'd like to center on, say, the moon, then disable the "red plus" around the moon.

Each showing needs another 10-15 minutes on top of the runtime for our H&S talk, ingress and egress, and a little time for some questions. The dome can accommodate up to a maximum of 20 small (primary age) children at a time (plus our volunteers and a couple of teachers/staff). Capacity decreases if your students are older!
